A workshop for physical and digital content
Join Merritt Award-Nominated sound designer Miquelon Rodriguez as he outlines some tips and tricks for turning your home space into a recording studio and guides you through the process of editing a clip of raw audio.
Topics of discussion will range from mitigating background noise to layering sound effects and using vocal enhancement tools, and will be largely adapted to suit the skill level of attendees - once you've registered, make sure to fill out the survey with which you are provided to ensure that Miquelon can tailor the work to everyone's needs.
Priority registration will be given to U of T Students. Others can secure a spot in the workshop for a minimal fee.

Miquelon Rodriguez
Miquelon Rodriguez is a Merritt Award-Nominated sound designer and an emerging arts leader based in Toronto. He was the Apprentice Artistic Director at Factory Theatre from 2017- 2019, under the mentorship of Nina Lee Aquino, and co-curated Pan-Asian works over two seasons at Soulpepper, through both the Tiger Bamboo Festival and the Shen Development Series. He is currently an Artistic Leadership Resident with the National Theatre School of Canada and has worked as a sound designer/composer with a multitude of artists and theatre companies in different provinces across Turtle Island.
