In recent decades student fees and hospitality revenues alone have not been sufficient to support student programming and maintain the physical space. A donation to Hart House assists with maintenance and architectural preservation of the historic building and augments programming opportunities for students. Hart House is helping to develop the leaders of tomorrow, by creating an inclusive space for students where the pressures of expectation transform into the delight of discovery. At Hart House, students discover different people and ideas, and are encouraged to navigate difference in all its manifestations. Students can discover interests outside their areas of study; untapped skills and talents; new social circles and collaborators; different communities and cultures; and diverse perspectives to broaden their world views.
