About

With over 20 years of experience producing theatrical productions at Hart House Theatre, there is no better person than the Director of Theatre and Performing Arts, Doug Floyd, to walk you through the steps of producing a show.

This seminar will cover everything to consider when producing a show on campus (and sometimes beyond - Toronto Fringe is closer than you think!). The seminar will touch on: mock budgeting, production management, scheduling, marketing, ticketing, venue bookings and more. We will walk you through the producers’ role inside and outside the rehearsal room and cover the production process.

This workshop is geared toward U of T students producing theatre on campus, though the skills imparted can be applied to any production.
