The University of Toronto Dance Team is excited to present a musical theatre class open to all! Designed for aspiring performers of all levels, this workshop is all about having fun while learning the basics of theatre dance. Join us in dancing to a classic Broadway hit by mastering choreography and building confidence on stage. We cannot wait to dance with you! Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in and bring indoor shoes, dance shoes or socks to dance in.
The University of Toronto dance team aims to provide students with the opportunity to continue dance at an elite level while pursuing their post-secondary studies. The team trains and performs in a variety of styles of dance, including jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap, and hip-hop. Being multi-faceted, the dance team strives to uphold a legacy of excellence and professionalism within both the University of Toronto and the dance community as a whole.
Free with registration. Open to U of T Students, Staff, Faculty, and Alumni.

Co-CaptainSara Da Silva
Sara is one of the co-captains for the University of Toronto Varsity Dance Team this year. She is in her third year at U of T completing a double major in Neuroscience and Immunology with a minor in Physiology. She has been dancing since she was 4 years old. Her favourite styles of dance are contemporary and jazz!

Marium is one of the co-captains for the University of Toronto Varsity Dance Team this year. She is in her third year at U of T completing a Management Specialist in the Rotman Commerce program. She has been dancing since she was 4 years old. Her favourite styles of dance are tap and contemporary!

Hailey is one of the assistant captains for the University of Toronto Varsity Dance Team this year. She is in her second year at U of T completing a major in Women and Gender Studies alongside a minor in Drama and Music. She has been dancing since she was 3 years old. Her favourite styles of dance are contemporary and tap!

Molly is one of the assistant captains for the University of Toronto Varsity Dance Team this year. She is in her third year at U of T completing a Computer Science specialist and Chemistry major. She has been dancing since she was 3 years old. Her favourite styles of dance are jazz, contemporary, and lyrical!
