About

Are you looking to stretch your design budget for Fringe or independent productions? We can help with that.

Design on a Dime will explore how to create props and set items for productions with a limited budget. Bygone Theatre’s Emily Dix will share general prop tips and tricks to create the right aesthetic for your production and share her expertise in vintage design. Do you wonder how you take design sketches and visual references and turn those items into reality? This session will include examples from previous Bygone Theatre shows and a hands-on opportunity for all participants to build an item from scratch! (Supplies will be provided).

Registration will be open for only U of T students till May 30. After that date, registration will be open to all. There is no cost for this workshop.
