Moonlight Ballet

Moonlight Ballet is Toronto's Newest Ballet Company and it was founded in 2023 by U of T Arts Management graduate Alena Loboda. The purpose of Moonlight Ballet is to bring together talented ballet artists with a passion for expressive performance and to create new works in the classical and neoclassical ballet vocabulary. The company is interested in illuminating new stories, characters, and imaginary realms, with a priority given to female choreographers. Most importantly, Moonlight Ballet exists to bring together those who desire to connect through art and to share the magical language of ballet with as many new people and seasoned ballet lovers as possible! Moonlight Ballet inspires and impacts its dancers through its focus on a non-hierarchical creative process and a well-being centred approach.
