About the workshop
Join the Hart House Fitness Centre and the Hart House Recreational Athletics & Wellness Committee on January 17, 2020 from 12-1 pm in the Hart House Board Room for an hour of goal setting and action planning to make 2020 your most accomplished year yet!
Participants will work closely with the program facilitator to identify specific goals that align with their core values, learn effective goal setting strategies and develop a personalized plan to get started. Participants will leave with an action oriented plan to help them stay motivated and inspired for 2020.
This workshop is session 1 of a 4-part series designed to help you turn your health and wellness related New Year's Resolutions into reality!

Rachel Jewett
Rachel is the University of Toronto Track and Field Team Mental Performance Coach. Through this role, she is working toward professional membership with the Canadian Sport Psychology Association. She is also a Ph.D. student studying clinical psychology at Ryerson University and specializes in qualitative research exploring high-performance athletes’ experiences with mental illness and sport culture. Rachel is passionate about both athlete mental health and mental performance.
Drawing on her personal experience as a high-performance track and field athlete and her academic training, Rachel has facilitated workshops with a range of sports teams and community groups targeting fundamental sport psychology skills, including goal setting, managing performance anxiety, overcoming setbacks, and building confidence.
