Overview
Spring is coming, the ground is thawing, and everything is coming to life! Join us for a celebration of the incredible work accomplished by UofT student groups towards building a more sustainable and just campus food system over the past year.
To mark our past success, and begin looking toward the good work ahead, we are hosting two days of FREE facilitated discussions, food sharing, garden preparation sessions, and interactive activities. Our goal is to bring together the UofT community of students, staff, and faculty engaged in food-related work to build friendships and partnerships towards constructing a more sustainable, resilient, and collaborative campus food praxis.

Indigenous Food Connections Potluck
We start the afternoon in a communal spirit by sharing food. Everyone is strongly encouraged to bring their own food for this potluck-style activity. There will also be delicious foods catered by Dashmaawaan Bemaadzinjin (They Feed the People), a Toronto-based Indigenous Food Sovereignty support network that supports Indigenous seniors and vulnerable community members with their profits. Learn about traditional Indigenous foodways through their informative presentation.

Join us for an afternoon of hands-on sustainability-focused activities led by representatives from the Hart House Student Farm Committee, the Trinity Food Systems Lab, and the UofT Food Coalition! Whether you enjoy getting your hands dirty in our garden space, are fascinated by creative activities with seeds, or just looking to meet like-minded peers, there is something for everyone.
No registration required – drop in whenever!
Trinity College is kicking off their growing season with a collaborative workday! Drop in any time to lend a hand, learn to build self-watering containers, help prepare new raised beds for planting, and connect with the land! A light sandwich lunch will be provided at noon.
