Our morning will start with a visit to our sugar shack where we will learn how to boil sap and make maple syrup. Join us in the farmhouse at noon for a maple-themed lunch with snow candy before participating in various afternoon activities in and around the farmhouse!
The Hart House Student Farm Committee strives to operate events with sustainability in mind. We kindly ask that participants bring their own reusable cups, plates, and eating utensils. All of our meals are vegetarian but please indicate any allergies when purchasing tickets.
Please make sure you bring:
- Footwear appropriate for outdoor walks,
- Clothing to stay warm, and
- Your own container (one that can hold soup) and utensils for meals. We also recommend that you bring a mug if possible.
