Join the Hart House Community Members Committee for the Hart House Sake Tasting Night.
The evening will feature an easy-to-understand overview of sake's history, its culture, how it is made and, most importantly, the best way to enjoy it. Despite all sake being made from the same basic ingredients, each brewery has its own secrets, technique and flavour.
Tonight, you will experience the range that sake has to offer, including Junmai, Ginjo, Daiginjo, and perhaps even sparkling and flavored sakes. You will have the chance to try it at different temperatures and drink it from different cups. The food pairings will be tailored to perfectly complement the delicate scents and flavors of the sake.
The tasting will be led by local sake expert Andrea Rezza, from the Izumi Sake Brewery.
