Hart House Community Committee

Introduction

The Community Committee, is a champion for alumni, graduate student and faculty engagement seeking to make the House more welcoming and innovative for today’s students. We act as the natural point of outreach to the Community, and create and promote a sense of community, tradition, history and belonging at Hart House for non-students and students.

The Community Committee is an important pathway for community members to contribute to the governance of the House. We are committed to promoting fellowship between students and alumni, by creating opportunities for students to connect with alumni outside of formal mentorship or networking programs, and through partnerships with other Hart House committees, clubs and U of T groups.

Our activities include an Alumni-Student dinner series, Community Committee Reception, Wine and Cider Tasting, Seminars, Wintersong, Life Drawing, an Annual Trivia Challenge and other Mentoring and Networking Initiatives.
