In celebration of Black History Month the Well Being Collective @ Hart House will be offering rest time and space on Wednesdays and Fridays from 2:10 - 4 pm in Studio A in the Hart House Fitness Centre.
Every Wednesday: Rest Space Activation
- We invite you to take time for yourself on Well Being Wednesdays. Gather in the Rest Space for self-guided meditation practices that will explore various themes of rest through affirmation, strength, resilience, Black love and vibrational energy throughout February.
- Drop in whenever you like and stay as long as you need. Mats and reclining chairs are set up to create a comfortable space. Expect dim lighting, salt lamps, candles, soothing meditations, nature sounds, aromatherapy and/or visual displays.
Every Friday: Guided Movement
- Join us on Freedom Fridays for guided movement sessions with Black wellness practitioners. These sessions expand on Wednesday’s wellness themes. Participants will be guided through a variety of movements to help achieve a state of rest. Participants can expect the following practices: sound bath, meditation, journaling, restorative yoga and restorative Pilates.

Meditation and Affirmations
Join Keke at either 2:10 pm or 3:10 pm for a restorative meditation and journaling practice designed to help support and cultivate a practice of self-love and compassion. Participants will be guided through a 50-minute session to craft personalized affirmations for their wellness journey.
Rest Space Activation
Theme: Vibrational Energy
Sound Bath and Restorative Movement
Join Keke and Dylan at 2:10 or 3:10 pm for a unique 50-minute experience of sound, meditation and restorative movement. Together, we will tune into vibrational energy designed to heal.

Back by popular demand, join Keke and Dylan at 2:10 or 3:10 pm for a unique 50-minute experience designed to promote rest, relaxation and resilience. The session will begin with a soothing, restorative Pilates practice and end with a meditative sound bath. Together, we will share vibrational energy designed to heal.
