The Well Being Collective @ Hart House invites you to join U of T students and members of the community for an evening celebrating Black History, Black Excellence and Black Futures. We will gather in community as we honour Black joy, love, strength, and resilience through expression of art and reflection.
Overview
Led by Well Being Collective @ Hart House facilitators, Liz Coucean and Sophia Jackson, I Am My Best Thing is a virtual evening of healing through guided meditation, mindful colouring, and sound healing. The event will open with a nourishing and grounding 10-minute guided meditation with Liz Coucean followed by a 40-minute guided mindful colouring experience with Sophia Jackson. While colouring, participants will be guided through a series of questions to encourage reflection about the image and themselves. The session will end with a unique 20-minute sound healing experience with Liz Coucean to close out the evening feeling present, centered, and held by community.
Registrants will receive a self-care kit that provides the resources needed to participate in the event. Self-care kits will be available for pick up at Hart House. Details will be emailed to registrants following the registration close date.
Registration closes at 11:59 pm on Tues. Feb. 22, 2022.
The self-care kit includes: a copy of the the colouring book Soulful Colour Mindset•Money•Matters by Creator and Author Sophia Jackson., multi-cultural colouring pencils, a healing crystal and more.

Sophia Jackson
Creator and Author of Soulful Colour Mindset•Money•Matters
Sophia radiates creativity. She is passionate about highlighting the connection between mental well-being and financial well-being and advocates for people to be financially responsible, independent, and protected.
Her main goal is to positively impact the lives of others, having them feel better and be better after connecting with her, as she makes this exciting career path her spiritual and financial livelihood. She feels very deeply about people and especially BIPOC women, investing in ways to live their best lives, financially, spiritually, psychologically, and physically. Sophia believes in leading by example, and showing practical ways that clients can benefit from multiple streams of income, diversification of income and self-development.
Sophia has written and produced two albums utilizing her vocal and lyrical prowess. She has expanded her talent as a wordsmith and is now also an author of two affirmation colouring books for adults which helps her to set a tone of calm to introduce her concepts of financial literacy as a mental health concern. Having worked as a highly skilled Child and Youth Counselor for the past 7 years has equipped her to distill financial terms as a licensed financial well-being coach.

Liz Coucean
Multidisciplinary wellness practitioner
As a multidisciplinary wellness practitioner, Liz is passionate about offering guidance for individuals to experience inner peace, a calmer mind, and the opportunity to connect more deeply to themselves and their environment.
Liz specializes in teaching meditation and yoga, and offers mindset coaching and corporate wellness consulting as part of her practice. She is also a certified reiki master, an ancient eastern healing modality that promotes stress reduction and relaxation. Liz is based in Toronto, Canada and offers her services globally online.
