The Well Being Collective @ Hart House invites you to join U of T students and members of the community for an evening celebrating Black History, Black Excellence and Black Futures. We will gather in community as we honour Black joy, love, strength, and resilience through expression of art and reflection.

Overview

Led by Well Being Collective @ Hart House facilitators, Liz Coucean and Sophia Jackson, I Am My Best Thing is a virtual evening of healing through guided meditation, mindful colouring, and sound healing. The event will open with a nourishing and grounding 10-minute guided meditation with Liz Coucean followed by a 40-minute guided mindful colouring experience with Sophia Jackson. While colouring, participants will be guided through a series of questions to encourage reflection about the image and themselves. The session will end with a unique 20-minute sound healing experience with Liz Coucean to close out the evening feeling present, centered, and held by community.

Registrants will receive a self-care kit that provides the resources needed to participate in the event. Self-care kits will be available for pick up at Hart House. Details will be emailed to registrants following the registration close date.
