The Well Being Collective @ Hart House invites you to join us for an evening celebrating Black History, Black Liberation, Black Excellence and Black Futures. We will gather in community as we honour all things Black joy, love, strength and resilience through the power of our breath and meditation.
This is an opportunity to explore the relationship that self love and self care play in building collective and individual wellness.
We will be joined by The Well Being Collective members, Bryan Allen (Yoga & Meditation Specialist), Natasha Helwig (Self Work Facilitator, Introspective Coach and Writer), Nicole Franklin (Mental Health Social Worker & Therapist), Monique Blackman (Movement Educator & Reiki Master) and Kim Ninkuru (Multimedia Artist). The event will be facilitated by Brother Kofi (Freedom & Alignment Coach, and Reiki Energy Healer).

Kim Ninkuru
Multimedia Artist
Kim Ninkuru is a multimedia artist from Bujumbura, in Burundi, currently residing in Toronto. She uses performance art, installation, video, spoken word and movement to create pieces that give her the chance to explore and express rage, love, desire, beauty, or pain in relation to her own body and mind.
Her work heavily questions our preconceived notions of gender, race, sexuality and class. It is grounded in the firm belief that blackness is past, present and future at any given moment.
