Presented by the Hart House Student Debates & Dialogue Committee and the University of Toronto Information Security team.

Overview

Have you ever wondered how and why your data is collected as a University of Toronto student? Are these two-factor authentications getting on your nerves? Does U of T use my data like social media platforms do?

Join the Hart House Student Debates & Dialogue Committee for Town Hall with members of the University of Toronto's own Information Security Team where they seek to educate the student body on why certain security measures are in place and what it means for our data, as well as to hear your concerns and questions about how they protect you in cyberspace and how you can do the same. This is a unique opportunity to get a look into the "behind-the-scenes" of data storage and collection, the protection of your data, and how to prevent unauthorized usage of your personal information.

Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to learn from and voice your concerns to your very own Information Security Team!
