Leave your gym bag behind and put your chef hat on! The Hart House Fitness Centre is taking you out of the gym and into the kitchen to celebrate National Nutrition Month with a series of four culinary workshops.

These sessions are perfect for busy students interested in learning how to better fuel their bodies for success. Learn how to shop for healthy ingredients, prepare and cook nutritious meals and ultimately, build a balanced plate that will leave you feeling sustained and energized to support your well-being.  

Every participant will leave with an allergen-free meal.


The following four sessions are available for registration: 

Thursday, March 14, 2024: Chicken/Tofu vegetable stir fry
Location: University College, Whitney Hall 

  • 5:10 – 6:10 pm 
  • 6:30 – 7:30 pm 

Wednesday, March 27, 2024: Whole grain couscous, chicken and chickpea salad
Location: New College, Wilson Hall (2007D)

  • 6:10 – 7:10 pm 
  • 7:30 – 8:30 pm 

What to expect

  • 10-min: How to build a healthy meal 
  • 10-min: Grocery and pantry staples for easy, accessible food options 
  • 40-min: Meal prep and cooking
