About this class

This workshop will investigate the challenges associated with asserting oneself and strategies to overcome them. In a group setting, participants will explore the meaning of assertiveness, understand the differences between passive, aggressive, and passive-aggressive communication styles, and confront the limiting beliefs that prevent authenticity in various life contexts. Using tools and exercises derived from acting, improvisation, and mindfulness techniques, participants will confront personal barriers, discovering and expressing their authentic selves with the goal of mastering assertiveness in order to stand up for what is important to them.
