About this class

This micro-class will get you started painting landscapes from a still image. Day 1 is a short lesson on selecting your materials and creating the workspace. Day 2 is a short lesson on prepping the canvas and prepping composition. Day 3 is a short lesson in colours, mixing paints, and sketching the image. Day 4 will review Day 3 assignments followed by a short lesson in painting with a brush and painting with a palette knife. Day 5 is a review of Day 4 assignments followed by a short lesson in knowing where to keep working and where to stop. Instructor: Mary Lewis. CLass begins October 25, 2020.
