Join the Club!
Overview
Each week you can join with other students for an interactive online book club where the audiobook you’ve been listening to is discussed. We are starting off with short stories to make it easy and low pressure, with a new audiobook each week.
You don’t need to be a literary major to participate, anyone who likes listening to and discussing books is welcome. If you’ve never listened to an audiobook before this is a great chance to try something new—and it's free!
Hosted by the Volunteer Student Librarians for the Hart House Library in collaboration with the student executives from the Hart House Literary and Library Committee. The Hart House Audiobook Club will meet weekly in an interactive online environment to discuss selected audiobooks that are available free for download.

Vinson Li
Hey, my name is Vinson Li and I am a volunteer at Hart House Library. I’m currently holed up inside my apartment eating more than I should and occasionally stepping out on the balcony to smell what being outside would be like. I decided to become a part of this audiobook club because it was something exciting and different that I could do within the given circumstances. I’m excited to see what kind of discussions we will all have at our upcoming audiobook club get-togethers.

Leanna
Hi! My name’s Leanna, and I’m one of the volunteers at the Hart House Library. Although quarantine gives me an excuse for not securing a summer internship (because everything is cancelled…), I must admit I’m missing the outside world and now constantly pester my friends to call or text me. If you are also tired of just the sound of your own voice and the hum of the refrigerator to keep you company, I hope you join us for our Audiobook club online meet ups. Even if you’re not an avid reader yourself, it’s a great way to get a regular dose of human interaction.
