Intro
This webinar is led by Krystal Meadows, a Gemini** Nominated Voice Actor and VO coach. Krystal will take you through the ins and outs of the voice-over business with a focus on animation VO; spanning everything from starting out, what a professional animation demo is, how to approach agents, how to book the gig and best practices when working in a recording studio. Plus a live demonstration on how to rock your self-tape auditions for animation.

Priority registration will be given to U of T Students. Others can secure a spot in the workshop for a minimal fee.

Krystal Meadows
Krystal Meadows is a Toronto-based actor, VO coach and creative spark. She has over 15 years of industry experience as an actor in animation voice-over. Krystal has had the privilege to learn from and assist some top Toronto voice directors

on a variety of animated series and casting sessions. She knows what it takes to succeed as a voice actor in animation and brings this knowledge to her work as a VO coach. Krystal coaches beginners to working actors, youth to adults, from Toronto to Vancouver, NYC to LA and beyond. She brings her insights from both sides of the glass to her work as a VO coach and guides actors how to create dynamic characters that jump off the page and into the hearts and imaginations of listeners. -

Renée Strasfeld
Renée is a Toronto-based actor, singer, improviser and voice-over artist. Renée loves to learn about the craft from as many people as she can to help her develop the best techniques for her students. A working actor, she’s currently the voice of Lysol for TV and web advertising. As a non actor—Renée works as a casting assistant. She has worked at Mann Casting, Sheridan College, and was a member of the casting team for the upcoming Toronto production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
