2020/2021 Season

Our 2020/2021 programming focused on the student experience.

As we adapted to unprecedented times, we created online content that focused on theatrical skill-building, celebrating familiar faces from our past productions, presenting new events and conversations through a virtual platform, and adapting our long-standing Student Festivals, all while continuing to present engaging and inclusive programming.

From monthly U of T Spotlight workshops and our annual Playwriting Competition, professional mentorship and consultancy for individual students and groups, and a virtual adaptation of The Dr. David E. Gardner Apprentice Director Program which led to two U of T students receiving first-hand production experience supporting Singular Sensation Online, this season provided a plethora of opportunities to get involved from the comfort of their own homes.
