Naomi Recollet is Anishinaabe-kwe from the Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory. In 2012, she graduated from Carleton University with a Master of Arts in Canadian Studies; and shortly after began working with the Wiikwemkoong Islands Claim Unit and later the Wikwemikong Heritage Organization. These work experiences influenced her decision to enroll at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Information. In November 2018, Naomi graduated with a Master of Museum Studies and a Master of Information (concentrating in archives and record management). Naomi is currently at the Ojibwe Cultural Foundation working with their extensive archival records and assisting with the development of programs.
