Call for Volunteers: Performance Assistants Needed

Are you passionate about performance art and looking for a unique volunteer opportunity? We are seeking one or two dedicated volunteers to join our team as performance assistants for a special event at Hart House that is part of the renowned 7a11d International Festival of Performance.

Performance details

  • Artists: Jess Dobkin, Joyce LeeAnn and Shalon T. Webber-Heffernan
  • Time Commitment: 10-15 hours spread out over a few weeks in September and early October. Must be available Tuesday, October 8.
  • Location: Mostly at Hart House, with some possible off-site tasks

Volunteer duties

  • Helping with assembling materials
  • Helping with set up, design, and take down after the performance 
  • Ushering and answering questions
  • Engaging with the 7a11d festival collective
  • Helping to set up and run tech as needed
