The Toronto Chinese Orchestra – celebrating its 30th anniversary as Canada's longest-running Chinese orchestra – presents an outreach performance of traditional and contemporary works for Chinese orchestra. The performance will be followed by an instrument “petting zoo” and demonstrations, where you will have the opportunity to try out some of these instruments for yourselves!
Come experience the unique and powerful sounds of this dynamic ensemble, led by Conductor Jonathan Wong (1T9 and 2T0) and Associate Conductor Mike Liu (2T1 and 2T3).

Toronto Chinese Orchestra (TCO) is the longest-running Chinese orchestra in Canada, and is committed to exploring and performing high quality Chinese orchestral music. We have both amateur and professional musicians working together, with a focus to raise the standards of Chinese music. We regularly participate in national and international musical exchanges with other Chinese orchestras. Our vision is to create a diverse community connected through the appreciation of multicultural music.
