About
Welcome back… or perhaps for you, it’s simply, WELCOME… this might be the first time you are in-person at university, and it’s all new! Rest assured, you are not alone… today is new for all of us. We are in it together, navigating newness, carrying the strangeness of the past couple of years collectively.
In anticipation of a return to campus, we asked students to reflect on a future community, one that rejects the old trappings of normalcy in favour of centring community, care, solidarity, and wellness in all its forms. Let their words soak in… what do you have to add to this conversation? Let’s share what we’ve learned, let’s share our stories, advice, fears, and hopes… let’s create this new world together.
Here Together
Carrying the strangeness of the past couple of years collectively, this exhibition aims to welcome you to a community we create together, starting now. We asked students to write words reflecting on a future community -- one that rejects the old trappings of normalcy in favour of centring care, solidarity, and wellness in all its forms. We hope sharing advice, fears, and hopes resonates with you.
Let their words soak in... what have you got to contribute?
Add your voice to the conversation. Put your thoughts on a sticky note, available at the front desk.
