Overview
Come out to the Hart House Debating Club's weekly online meetings! Our meetings are held on a drop-in basis on Tuesdays (7-9 pm) and Thursdays (4-6 pm), and students can attend whichever is more convenient for them.
Each meeting includes a practice debate that helps students hone their public speaking skills, debate an interesting topic, and meet others at U of T. Meetings may also provide workshops on various debating skills and world issues.
The meetings are hosted on Discord, an online discussion platform.
You should have a reliable internet connection, computer, or phone, and a working microphone. You should have both a Discord and Zoom account set up, as the event will be hosted on Discord but smaller workshops may take place over Zoom.
