Hosted jointly by the Hart House Debates & Dialogue Committee and the Hart House Social Justice Committee, “In Conversation on Student Mental Health” aims to foster an intimate and inclusive conversation on the mental health and well-being of students.
Overview
This dialogue will involve tri-campus students, faculty, administration, and members of the Presidential and Provostial Task Force on Student Mental Health in a moderated panel, followed by a discussion period.
We want to provide an opportunity for students to speak to administration about their experiences, impressions, and concerns with the university's mental health services face-to-face. This will be a space created for students and by students, who recognize the urgency and importance of providing substantial mental health support on campus.
We invite students and faculty alike to join in on this conversation with the mutual recognition that we are all impacted by this issue, and we all have a stake in this conversation. We hope that through open dialogue, we can begin to foster a more positive relationship between the University and its students.
