About the Exhibition
Artists in the 6ix is an annual showcase as part of Toronto Youth Week featuring the hidden talent of youth artists from across the city—many of whom have never shown their work in public before.
Over the past half a dozen years, Artists in the 6ix has transformed into a highly anticipated event, shining a bright spotlight on the City’s most promising up-and-coming artists. This year's event, which is virtual (making it accessible to many viewers even outside of Toronto), will be held through Virtual Hart House from May 2 to May 7.
The Gala will take place virtually on Thursday, May 5 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. It will feature performances and offer a chance to meet and connect with the artists. Each featured artist will host their own virtual room where visitors can meet them, take a look at their artwork, ask questions about it and potentially purchase an original piece of art. The art is on display virtually from May 1 to May 31, 2022, through a 3D virtual gallery or through an online art catalogue.
