Overview

Hart House respects your privacy. Personal information that you provide to Hart House is collected pursuant to section 2(14) of the University of Toronto Act, 1971.

Personal information may be collected by Hart House for a variety of purposes including, but not limited to

  • providing products and services
  • registering for an event or program
  • statistical reporting and surveys
  • communicating with students, guests, and other patrons
  • collection of fees and financial processing

At all times, your information will be protected in accordance with privacy requirements, including the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

Where Hart House is providing event registration services or acting in the capacity of a venue for booking event space, contact information including name and email address may be shared with third-party rental clients or other external partners, such as the organizer of an event or activity for which the individual has registered or purchased admission. This contact information may be used for the purpose of sending information about the event, communicating about future events and offerings, and collection of fees with external agencies as required.

Hart House will ensure that access to any information provided is limited to Hart House staff and the appropriate external partner(s) where applicable and required for the purpose(s) described above.

At all times, personal information will be protected, consistent with the privacy requirements set out in the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
