Hart House Student Sustainable Agriculture

Introduction

The Farming Subcommittee aims to develop sustainable agricultural use of the farm by collaborating with various other student groups and creating faculty-staff-alumni partnerships.

This subcommittee works to make the farm a place of collaborative, integrated, intentional learning for co-curricular education. Farming activities are developed to engage students with the small-scale processes of food production that are often overlooked and neglected in modern society. We hold workshops and events during several stages of agricultural production at the farm and in Hart House.
