Hart House Finance Committee

Update

Introduction

The Hart House Finance Committee provides opportunities to learn valuable skills in financial management by participating in conversations and decisions about budgetary and financial policies and issues.

We welcome students from all disciplines and seek to expand financial education to students at the University and beyond through our financial literacy sessions.

The Finance Committee is responsible for reviewing, providing input and recommendations on Hart House operating budgets, capital expenditures, allocations to the Clubs and Committees and financial policy changes. We hold an open session once per month on a Tuesday at 8 am to discuss the revenues and expenses of the House.

We provide Financial Literacy workshops in the Fall and Winter terms. Topics include Debt management, credit management, savings, and taxes. We are open to collaborations within U of T as our workshops can move and be hosted in your college or department.
