Doug has been on staff at the Theatre since September 2003 even though his involvement with the Theatre goes back to 1998 as either a Producer, actor or volunteer. He was the Co-Founder and Executive Producer of Canopy Theatre Company; a theatre company that co-produced an outdoor summer Season with the Theatre on Philosopher’s Walk for 11 Seasons. Doug’s Marketing, Sponsorship and Sales experience outside of theatre include Marketing for the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and Tribute Entertainment Media Group. Doug is a proud graduate of the University of Toronto where he studied English, Philosophy and History.

Andrea has been working in and around theatre for well over 20 years. Her work as a theatre administrator is strengthened by her experience as a director and actor. She is proud to have worked with such companies as Alumnae Theatre Company, Canopy Theatre Company, VideoCabaret, International Renaissance Festivals and For The Love of Louis. Andrea is a proud graduate of the University of Guelph.

Gillian has been working professionally in theatre for over 9 years. She worked as a freelance stage manager and production manager, prior to joining the Hart House Team. Gillian has had the pleasure of working with companies of various sizes including: Alberta Theatre Projects, Cart Horse Theatre, Eldritch Theatre, Gailey Road Productions, The National Ballet of Canada and Theatre Passe Muraille. Gillian is a proud graduate of Ryerson Universities Theatre – Technical Production program.

Rebecca is a recent graduate of the University of Toronto, where she majored in Drama and Psychology. Rebecca is a writer and performer who has spent many happy hours at Hart Hart House Theatre, both as a Front of House Ushering staff and as a theatre volunteer. She has held such positions as assistant director on Jesus Christ Superstar and Boeing Boeing, and assistant stage manager on The Wedding Singer. Rebecca is so grateful for the many diverse opportunities that Hart House Theatre has given her, and she cannot wait to learn more about education and production coordinating!

Trevor Rines has been on Hart House staff since 2001 and involved with Hart House since 1987. While Hart House Theatre’s Publicity and Marketing Coordinator/Box Office Manager (2001-2004), he converted Hart House Theatre’s Box Office to run on software and launched U of T’s first eCommerce site (2002). In 2004, Trevor started up the UofTtix Box Office and has handled sales for events at over 150 different venues (on all 3 campuses and off-campus venues as far afield as Amsterdam and Guatemala City – at venues as large as 5000 seats) and for as many as 46 different events at 20 different venues, simultaneously. In March 2015, UofTtix processed its 200,000th order. While a student at U of T, Trevor started in Astrophysics and graduated with a Music degree, founded the U of T Drama Coalition (1992) and resurrected the U ofT Drama Festival (1993). He then obtained an Education degree from UWO and is quoted on DNA in The Dictionary of Canadian Quotations.
