Rooms & Spaces

Every space is artistically appointed and splendidly unique.

The scale and grandeur of the stonework, the expanse of oak timbers, the architectural brilliance and the unequaled craftsmanship set Hart House apart from any other venue in Toronto. Hart House has accommodated royalty, heads of state, celebrity galas, conferences, tradeshows, performances, dinners and meetings for nearly one hundred years. Every room is licensed and accessible.

The East Wing houses our most magnificent and largest room, The Great Hall. With an eighteen-meter cathedral ceiling, marble floors, decorative stone corbels, oak paneling and a grand fireplace, this room is a Toronto landmark.

In the centre of the building is the famous Quadrangle. Enclosed on four sides and open to the skies this expansive outdoor space includes a tented patio, gardens, sculptures and a centred flagstone aisle.

The West Wing features a suite of four rooms, the largest of which is the legendary Music Room, which has hosted great musicians from Paul Robeson and Oscar Peterson to Sam Roberts. Complimented with the smaller North and South Dining Rooms and the Board Room, the West Wing is perfect for conferences and seminars.

Hart House has an assortment of other large multi-purpose rooms and smaller more intimate meeting spaces, some with fireplaces and grand pianos and all with classic ambiance and charm.
