About: Claire Burns is a queer actor, director, theatre creator, producer and feminist. Claire holds an HBA in Political Science and History from U of T as well as a degree in Classical Performance from George Brown Theatre School. Claire is the Artistic Managing Director of the Storefront Theatre in Toronto. She​ is committed to reducing how discrimination based on race, gender expression, sexuality, ability and mental health manifests in theatrical ecology and practice. She is a co-founder of We Are Egg Donors and an advocate for egg donors in Canada for which she has appeared on CBC’s The National and in the Globe and Mail.
