When Vincent Massey first envisioned Hart House back in 1911, his goal was to create a unifying community on campus that could welcome students from any college and from all disciplines. It is not surprising then that a wide breadth of Hart House programming is devoted to issues of equality, inclusiveness, civic engagement and human rights.
Events, Lectures and Ongoing Series
From our world-class debating team to hands-on participation in sustainable agriculture to lectures on social justice and a documentary film series on conscious activism, Hart House continues to provide a crucial space for open dialogue on the big issues of the day.
