Events, activities and performances at Hart House are selected with an eye to offering more than entertainment or education. The hope is that the experience will be memorable, possibly even life changing, or at the very least, something to think about.
Northrope Frye once said that “Hart House represented the university as a society; it dramatized the kind of life that the university encourages one to live: a life in which imagination and intelligence have a central and continuous function.” Through collaboration with students, faculty and staff, Hart House strives to offer thoughtful programming to which all are welcome to attend.
See a show, take a class, be moved, get inspired or just have fun.
