Get Involved

Discover all the ways to get involved at Hart House

Whether you are a student, U of T alum or a member of the community, you are welcome at Hart House!

All U of T students are automatically members of Hart House, which means they can join one of our many clubs and committees, can access our Fitness and Aquatics Centre, take classes and attend a multitude of events and activities that are held each term. Check out our events calendar, sign up to our newsletter or follow us on Twitter/Facebook/etc.

Not a student? Most of our events, lectures, parties and entertainment are open to the public and many are free of charge. There are openings for non-student members in all our clubs and committees. You can audition for a role in one of our theatre season productions, get a fitness membership, take courses in everything from archery and ballet to filmmaking and acting, volunteer, dine at the elegant Gallery Grill, visit the Justina M. Barnicke Gallery (Art Museum), book your wedding, serve on an advisory board or support the historic preservation of our 100-year-old building.

Our Award Winners

There are so many ways to get involved at Hart House and many of our members have made great contributions to all that we do. We are proud to recognize the people who not only got involved, but who made a huge difference!
