Hart House is here to help you live your best life on campus. Join us for our wellness programs designed to help you de-stress, connect with yourself and others, and find your balance.

DROP-PIN Button Making

Come by the Hart House Reading Room and make your own DIY buttons! Colouring, glitter, political statements—you can do it all! Bring your friends or come on your own and hang out with our friendly Hart House Ambassadors.

Food for Thought

Join a weekly drop-in talk led by Hart House’s nutritionist, Heather Allen. Explore topics related to nutrition tailored to the student experience. Enjoy samples from food prep demos. Share your own stories and get the answers to your burning nutrition questions.

Board Game Cafe

Board Games are a great icebreaker that allow you to connect without that pesky awkward small talk! Come join for games, tea, fun and friendly competition. This event is offered in partnership with Pair-A-Dice Gaming.

Mindful Wednesdays

Would you like to be more calm, confident and connected? Join us every Wednesday to practice mindfulness meditation techniques that can help reduce stress and increase resiliency. Sessions will be led by Melissa Negrini. Beginners welcome, registration not required. These sessions are provided on a drop-in basis, and students are welcome to attend any session throughout the year.

Get Crafty Thursdays

Get Crafty is Hart House’s series of free weekly drop-in craft workshops. We make cool crafts that will satisfy your creative cravings. We provide everything: tools, materials and even tea and cookies. We’ll make amazing crafts together to keep or give. Catch up with old friends and meet new ones over all things crafty at Hart House

5-Buck Lunch

On the last Tuesday of the month throughout the school year, Hart House and HealthyU bring you the famous 5-Buck Lunch. Join us for a tasty and balanced meal and experience the flavours and cultures of the world.

When: Last Tuesday of the month, 11:45 am-2 pm
Where: Great Hall, Hart House
Cost: $5 students, $7 non-students

Learn to Run Program

In partnership with The Runner’s Academy, Hart House is offering a 11-week learn-to-run program. Each week covers a different aspect of run form, run training (includes strength and stretching), as well as other topics of interest in the group.

MoveU Weight Management Program

Join us for this 7-week weight management support program brought to you by MoveU. Our experts will help you to set weight management goals and provide you the tools to be more successful with achieving them.

When: Mondays beginning Jan. 15, 2018, 5-6 pm
Where: Hart House and the KPE Athletic Centre
