The Organics of Acting for the Camera: An Introduction - 5207

Description: This class will explore the organics of acting, which will include a variety of acting exercises and improvisation work of a dramatic nature to help guide the actor through: how to stay present and connected, work from the heart with truth and vulnerability and stay in the moment. The process explored will involve working with an organic inside-out approach and deal with a variety of issues, including: breath, sub textual and visual stimulation, character psychology, focus and the energy exchange and dynamics of working with other actors. The issue of actor-image and casting will also be addressed. This class is designed for actors new to working in front of the camera.
