Pinhole Photography - 7263
Description: In this hands-on class, students will learn the basic principles of photography, as well as how to make a pinhole camera and use it to capture images directly onto photographic paper. Students will also learn about camera optics and basic darkroom procedures to develop prints. Students will be provided with small handmade pinhole cameras for the first day of class but are free to build larger ones for the second day. We will begin photographing together as a group, then proceed individually. Due to the long exposure times required for pinhole photography, expect to take and develop about 2-4 photographs per session. Students who would like to take more photographs are free to bring multiple pinhole cameras from home for the second session and purchase additional photo paper available for a material fee of $1.50 per 8'x10' sheet.
Instructor: Anastasiya Martyts NOTE: Deadline to withdraw from this class is 5:00 pm on June 7th. A $15 withdrawal fee applies.
