Film Post-Production Sound - 7596
Description: An introduction to the basic concepts of post movie sound using Adobe Premiere software. Topics include sound editing, noise reduction, basic EQ, and creating a stereo mix for film projects. There is an emphasis on cleaning and editing dialogue for a more natural flow. Through demonstrations students will be taken through the process of dealing with audio from ingest of footage to final export. Practical examples will demonstrate how to ensure sync when ingesting audio and ways to improve any problem spots recorded during production. We'll also cover exporting a project for handing-off to someone doing additional work with a dedicated audio program such as Pro Tools. Instructor: Chris North.
