Details: Are you interested in a career in writing or editing? Love literature? Wondering what to do with your arts degree? Well, the Hart House Literary and Library Committee and the English Students’ Union are hosting an upcoming professional writing and editing panel. This event is the perfect opportunity to get to know a bit more about the various directions that your degree can take you, and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
The event will feature a panel discussion and a Q&A session, and will be followed by some light refreshments. It will be moderated by Halyna Chumak, Co-President of the English Students’ Union, and the panelists featured will be:
- Adam Hammond, Michael Ridley Postdoctoral Fellow in Digital Humanities at the University of Guelph, and author of Literature in the Digital Age: A Critical Introduction.
- Ronna Bloom, Poet-in-Community, speaker, psychotherapist, and author of five books.
- Emily Dockrill-Jones, Publicist with Wolsak & Wynn Publishers, writer, editor, and trainer helping businesses maximize their communications efforts in print and online.
