Midday Mosaics


Have a lunch break during the day? Come on over to Hart House and enjoy a free concert! The Music Committee Presents Midday Mosaics throughout the year showcasing hidden talent from the U of T campus community. See faculty members, professors and students in a different light as they show off their musical gifts and then join us for complimentary light refreshments!

 

Details: Join us for a performance by Jenny Cheong. Jenny’s debut in Toronto was with the Sharon Women’s Choir tenth annual concert in George Weston Recital Hall at the Toronto Centre for the Arts in June 2006. The recipient of the Yo-Yo Ma Scholarship in 2002 and the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra Music Scholarship in 2003, Jenny recently began her studies in the Doctor of Musical Arts in Cello Performance program at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Music with Shauna Rolston. Jenny has also studied with Joowon Kim, Yegor Dyachkov, Brian Manker and David Hetherington. Since obtaining her M.T.S. in Church Music, she has been the organist/pianist and choir conductor at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church.
