Hobson’s Choice

Details: An eclectic chamber jazz group of both York and U of T graduates, the group incorporates vibraphone and voice complimented by guitar and trumpet. Hobson’s Choice has developed into a tightly knit ensemble embracing elements of jazz, chamber, and singer-songwriter traditions; paying homage to artists like Joni Mitchell and Bruce Cockburn, the group has built upon a Canadian songwriter foundation and interpreted it with their unique instrumentation and fresh approach to song form
