Sarah JerromDetails: Sarah Jerrom is a Toronto-based vocalist, composer, lyricist, and arranger whose music reflects a mix of eclectic and diverse influences. As a composer, Sarah has written pieces for her own nine-piece chamber jazz group “The Yeats Project” which features music set to the poetry of W.B. Yeats. For this performance, she will be presenting the music of “The Yeats Project” with her six-piece group. Sarah is a gifted composer having written pieces for smaller jazz ensembles, including the title track of her 2007 debut album, “Illuminations”. Released in 2007 to critical acclaim, “Illuminations” encompasses original compositions, jazz-inspired arrangements of contemporary songs and traditional jazz standards. www.sarahjerrom.com
