Picture of TuluumDetails: Hameed Shaqq, otherwise known as the Pan Piper, has been perfecting his skills on the steel pan for years. Known internationally as a consummate steel pan player, Hameed has turned the signature tones of the steel pan from calypso to classical with his artful interpretations of many different musical genres. Bringing together an eclectic gang of musicians, Tuluum promises to deliver a sensational and unique jazz experience. Featuring the steel pan and fusing vocals, guitar/strings, keyboard and drums the musicians travel through the sounds of the islands, Gospel and Reggae adding their own jazz style along the way. You’ll hear standards like How High the Moon and Amazing Grace in new and unexpected ways!
