Hidden Impacts: Understanding Anti-Semitism on Campus

Details: A training workshop for university administrators, faculty, student life professionals, equity officers, and other staff, by Yavilah McCoy of Dimensions Educational Consulting.

This workshop will feature discussion and honest dialogue regarding our growing need to advance justice across interracial, intercultural, and interfaith differences on college campuses. Of specific interest will be anti-Semitism – how it works (differently from other kinds of oppression), how to recognize it, and how to support Jewish students and others experiencing it on campus. Explore tools for navigating multiple and emerging political and cultural differences and explore strategies for working together and apart toward common goals of greater equity and justice for all of our students.

Co-sponsored by Hillel International, Hillel Ontario, Hillel UofT, Hillel Ryerson, Hillel York, the Multi-Faith Centre of UofT, the Anti-Racism and Cultural Diversity Office of UofT, Hart House, and Anglican Campus Chaplaincy at UofT, the Ecumenical Chaplaincy at UofT.
