Tickets are also available at the door ($20 students, $30 non-students) but they sell out quickly so book ahead if you can!

  • 9:15 am – Registration begins
  • 10:00–10:10 am – Welcome
  • 10:10–11:00 am – Belly Dance
  • 11:00–Noon – Zumba® with Kristina Djokic
  • Noon–1:00 pm – Snacks and door prizes
  • 1:00–2:00 pm – Socacize® with Ayanna Lee Rivears
  • 2:00–3:00 pm – Yoga with Chris Csak

 

*Note: Please bring a non-perishable food item, yoga mat, running shoes and comfortable clothes. Mats will also be available for rent.

 


Joanna Camilleri, Belly dance instrustorJoanne Camilleri, Belly dance: Joanne’s passion for dance has been a lifelong physical and internal journey. Her extensive dance training started at the age of five in ballet, jazz and various dance techniques and continued to her studies in the Middle East where she explored the art of the Raks Sharqi (dance of the stomach) and the delicate intricacies of modern and tribal fusion belly dance. Joanne is a regular performer at The Sultan’s Tent in downtown Toronto.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ayanna Lee-Rivears, Socacize instructorAyanna Lee-Rivears, Socacize®: Ayanna is a dancer, Socacize®/fitness instructor, teacher and choreographer. She started dancing at the age of 12 with Ballet Jordan in Toronto and continued with an exploration of the dance styles of her native country of Trinidad and Tobago. With a reputation as “Limbo Dancer Extraordinaire” she has opened for Destiny’s Child with the Boom Tang Boys at the Royal Thompson Hall. After completing the Fitness Instructor Certified Program at Canadian Fitness Profession (Can-Fit-Pro) Ayanna started Socacize® to promote a fun way to exercise with a combination of dance moves, weight and strength training.

 

 

 

Kristina Djokic, Zumba instructorKristina Djokic, Zumba®: Kristina is a trained Zumba® and yoga instructor known for her passion and patience. She has built a loyal following of students and community members that appreciate her high energy and results-driven attitude that challenges all who take her class to be their best self.

 

 

 

Chris Csak, Yoga instructorChris Csak, Yoga: Yoga is a passion Chris has been fueling for more than 15 years as a participant and instructor. In addition to a well-rounded foundation of yoga training, he has an extensive background in the health and fitness industry which comes through in his practice and teachings. Chris works to combine more contemporary exercise concepts into his practice which is still composed of traditional Yoga Asana. Currently Chris teaches classes in studios and privately in Toronto.
