Dames Making Games: Public Policy Edition

Details: Dames Making Games is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to supporting those interested in creating games. They aim to demonstrate the value of diversity in a broad range of disciplines related to games, highlight the achievements of diverse Toronto-based gamemakes, and provide a community and venue for gamemakers to confidently explore playing, discussing, and creating games. By hosting game jams, incubators, and speaker series, DMG provides a platform to those new to gamemaking, and especially provide a new medium for problem-solving. At this special event, DMG will explore the power of crafting, playing, and discussing games as a means of building inclusive community and shaping informed public policy.
