Together, we will cook food and ideas.
Pool your resources and your culinary skills with others to create a cheap feast for the senses! Featuring a different guest speaker and menu at each event, this hands-on workshop emphasizes nutrition, health and the joy of good company.

Connecting with Food
Join us for an engaging discussion with Dan Legault as he shares his story on the connection between spirituality and food. After seeing the extent of consumption and waste within the food industry as a farmer and professional cook, Dan has decided to focus on his deeper relationship with food by working in farmers’ markets, studying Indigenous Environmental Studies at Trent U and working as the coordinator for the Trent Vegetable Gardens. Following this, we will cook and feast together on a delicious and healthy Korean meal.
Note: Please wear full shoes (no open toes) and bring something to tie hair back with if it is long. Bring empty containers so you can take any extra food home!
